Orgran egg replacer. 

Over the weekend we did some baking using a recipe from this vegan recipe book. 

We made snickerdoodles, cinnamon cookies, and the recipe called for egg replacer. I didn’t know there was such a thing until I bought this book, but I found some in Holland and Barrett. 

At £3:29 for the equivalent of 66 eggs I think the orgran egg replacer is good value for money, as well as being cruelty free and gluten free. I don’t know how much you know about the egg industry but there’s really no such thing as a cruelty free egg even if you buy free range. 

The egg replacer is a powder which you mix with water and it does the job perfectly. Our snickerdoodles were a huge successs. 

Next week we will be making sponge cake using the egg replacer. I’ll let you know how we get on.
